A veneer is a thin shell — usually porcelain, sometimes composite resin — bonded to the front surface of a tooth to correct its shape, size, or color. Composite bonding is faster and cheaper per tooth, while porcelain holds up longer and mimics natural enamel translucency more convincingly.
Getting veneers usually means a small amount of enamel is removed from the front of the tooth first, so the shell sits flush rather than bulky. Before committing, most patients see a preview — either digital or a temporary trial veneer — so there are no surprises with the final look.
Getting veneers doesn't replace the need for normal hygiene — the tooth underneath still needs the same care as any other. Patients who grind their teeth are usually advised to wear a nightguard to protect the new veneers from chipping.
A digital mock-up shows your expected new smile before any enamel is prepped or veneers ordered.
Both material options are available, with your provider explaining the tradeoffs for your specific case.
Some cases qualify for ultra-thin veneers requiring little to no enamel removal.
Shape and shade are customized so veneers look intentional, not artificially uniform.
Whatever the specifics of your case, the specialist you reach through us has handled it before.

Since a thin layer of enamel is typically removed to fit them, veneers are considered a permanent, irreversible procedure.
Lifespan varies by habits like grinding, but a decade or more is typical for porcelain.
A digital preview lets you fine-tune shape and shade so the result looks intentional rather than obviously fake.
Enamel prep is done under local anesthesia, so the procedure itself is generally not painful.
Crowns are typically used for more structurally damaged teeth; veneers are a cosmetic front-surface solution.
Cost varies by material — porcelain versus composite — and is quoted per tooth before you commit.
